Congressman Steve Knight Lends His Support to Songwriter Equity Act

Congressman Steve Knight (R-CA-25) (@SteveKnight25) has joined lead sponsor Congressman Doug Collins (R-GA-9) (@RepDougCollins) in support of H.R.1283, the Songwriter Equity Act of 2015. The bill, which was introduced by Congressman Collins in March of 2015, continues to gain support on Capitol Hill, and Congressman Knight’s cosponsorship is welcome news to BMI affiliates in California and across the country. Congressman Knight serves on the House Armed Services and Small Business Committees. He also sits on the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, where he serves as Vice Chairman of the Energy Subcommittee.
