BMI’s Mason Hunter Celebrates BMI Songwriter of the Year Zach Bryan at Red Rocks
BMI’s AVP, Creative, Nashville, Mason Hunter traveled to the Red Rocks Ampitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on Sunday, August 10, to catch Zach Bryan during The Quittin’ Time Tour and present him with awards from the 2024 BMI Country Awards.
During the celebration last November in Nashville, Bryan was named Songwriter of the Year as six songs from his catalog were included in the 50 most-performed Country songs of the year, including “Burn, Burn, Burn,” “Dawns,” “Hey Driver,” “I Remember Everything,” “Oklahoma Smokeshow” and “Sun to Me.” Bryan earned the honor alongside co-recipient Chase McGill, who also penned six of the 50 most-performed songs including Morgan Wallen’s “Ain’t That Some,” Luke Bryan’s “But I Got a Beer in My Hand,” Russell Dickerson’s “God Gave Me A Girl” and more.
