BMI provided the musical entertainment, recently, at the Texas Association of Broadcasters annual awards gala, which was held at the Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Austin. BMI singer/songwriter Race Ricketts entertained the crowd of over 200 radio and television executives from across the state performing “Texas BBQ” and “Mr. Eisenhower.”

Formed in 1953, the Austin-based association represents the interests of Texas’ 1,200+ free, over-the-air radio and television stations.
