BMI has one slot up for grabs in its anticipated Acoustic Brunch on Saturday, April 21 at the Gibson Showroom during the 2012 Florida Music Festival and Conference in downtown Orlando.

In addition to a bio, artists may enter up to three songs, although selecting one top song to submit is suggested.
Slated for April 19-21, the Florida Music Festival showcases more than 250 bands on 15 stages in downtown Orlando. Artists from all over the country will apply and be invited to play the Florida Music Festival through Sonic Bids. A total of 150 slots are saved for Sonicbids artists, who will join premier unsigned talent and top-drawing live acts. Taylor Swift, Flyleaf, Manchester Orchestra, Black Tide, The Academy Is, There For Tomorrow and so many others played the Florida Music Festival before signing deals, while past headliners have included JJ Grey & Mofro, Minus the Bear, Less Than Jake, Anberlin, Buckcherry, Flogging Molly, Third Eye Blind, Pras, Rusted Root, Yellowman, Better Than Ezra, members of Matchbox Twenty, Creed and many more.
By day, the conference offers in-depth panel discussions led by industry experts, as well as exclusive networking and educational opportunities. Warped Tour founder and seminal festival creator Kevin Lyman of 4Fini Productions is slated to speak at the 2012 installment; past speakers have included Melvin Benn (Festival Republic Founder & President), Monte Lipman & Avery Lipman (Founders & Co-Presidents of Universal Republic Records), John Janick (Founder of Fueled By Ramen/ President of Elektra Records), Steve Robertson (VP of A&R, Atlantic Records), Lou Pearlman (We apologize!), Richard Reines (Founder of Drive Thru Records), Rodney Jerkins (producer of Michael Jackson, Beyoncé), Richard Gottehrer (Founder of Orchard Distribution) and more.
