The 2012 Latin Grammy Awards promises to be a big night for BMI artists, songwriters, and producers.  Dominican singer, songwriter, and producer Juan Luis Guerra, who has already earned 12 Latin Grammys, received nominations for a staggering six awards this year including two for Record of the Year and two for Song of the Year, as well as nods for Album of the Year and Producer of the Year.

Juanes shares nominations with Guerra for three awards: Record of the Year and Song of the Year for their work on “Azul Sabina”; and Album of the Year for their collaboration on “Juanes MTV Unplugged.”  The international superstar is also nominated for Best Long Form Music Video for “Juanes MTV Unplugged.”

Other multiple nominations go to Caetano Veloso and Carla Morrison with four nods each, ChocQuibTown and Gilberto Gil with three each, and Adrian Pieragostino, Don Omar, Kiko Cibrian, Kinky, Luis Carlos Monroy, and Pepe Aguilar with two nominations each.  To read more about this year’s nominees and view photographs and videos from last year’s awards show, go to Huffington Post.com.
