BMI’s Sonidos Alternos Latin showcase brought some serious flavor to SXSW on Thursday. Austin’s Congress Avenue venue, The Townshend, was full to capacity, and attendees were treated to spirited performances by indie-pop siren Madame Récamier, alternative pop-rock singer/songwriter Nea Agostini, GRAMMY-nominated genre-melding singer/songwriter Gustavo Galindo, GRAMMY-winner and former Calle 13 vocalist iLe, modern banda artist Victoria “La Mala” and versatile Latin hip-hop star PJ Sin Suela.
