Latin Recording Academy’s Tribute to Women in Music Highlights BMI Songwriters

The Latin Recording Academy and Univision are set to celebrate the incredible contributions of women in music with a star-studded television special, Celebra Ellas y Su Música, with several talented BMI affiliates slated to take part. From legendary icons to today’s rising stars, this two-hour event, hosted by BMI singer/songwriter Thalía, will feature unforgettable personal stories in homage to the female singer/songwriters who helped shape the course of Latin music. In addition, the show will include performances by BMI affiliates such as Anitta, Cazzu, Chiquis, Lila Downs, Gloria Estefan, Goyo, La India, Mon Laferte, Sofía Reyes, Raquel Sofía and more.

Celebra Ellas y Su Música will air on Sunday, May 9, at 8:00pm ET on Univision.
