Indie Spotlight: Lesands
Lesands are a brand new four-piece indie pop band from North County San Diego, CA, consisting of singer Austin Taylor Tirado, drummer Joel Plotnik, guitarist Andy Breihan and bassist John Fredericks. Despite the band being only a few months old, their debut batch of songs has been enthusiastically embraced at shows in San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles. Additionally, these early recordings have stirred up fan and press excitement: Early support has come from KCRW, Illegal Tender Magazine, Future Sounds, and more. Lesands will play several showcases at CMJ’s Music Marathon in NYC between October 19-23. Expect a debut single release soon.
