Indie Spotlight: Ambassadors
Ambassadors are a soul-infected indie rock group based in Brooklyn, NY. Their music is a dynamic blend of R&B/soul, Beach Boys chamber-pop, dark electronica, and heavy, hip-hop infused beats; all brought together by a strong pop-sensibility and a dramatic flair. In the two short years they have been active, Ambassadors have toured all over the U.S. and Europe, and have played at SXSW, CMJ, and The Midpoint Music Festival. The music video for their first single “Tropisms” off their first self-titled EP debuted on MTV-U’s Freshman Five and stayed at #3 on the top 5 videos for two weeks straight. Ambassadors will drop their debut LP “Litost” this year.
