Indie Spotlight: Chloe Lilac
Seamlessly capturing the teenage experience, “Summer” by Brooklyn-born Chloe Lilac has earned 8.3M Spotify streams to date. An alt-pop gem that received praise from both Elevator and Nylon, the song set the table for Lilac’s March EP, Manic Pixie Dream (RCA Records), and for the rest of her very successful 2019. Two singles (“High School” and “Special”) from her forthcoming sophomore EP have already been released, and after touring with artists like Charlotte Lawrence, Sasha Sloan, Tessa Violet, and Rejjie Snow, she joined mxmtoon on her fall North American tour. Lilac also performed on the BMI stage at this year’s SXSW and is set to headline Neon Gold’s renowned Popshop showcase in Los Angeles in December.
