BMI Celebrates the 27th Annual Latin Alternative Music Conference in New York

BMI was proud to continue its long-standing partnership with the Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) in New York. As part of the week’s events, BMI presented its “El Acoustic Lounge” showcase at S.O.B.’s in the lower Manhattan neighborhood of SoHo. The intimate showcase featured a diverse lineup of singer/songwriters including Nina del Rio, Delilah, Selines, Monokoi, Hamilton, Lua Lelia, Paula Arenas, Lobel, and Fabian.

Additionally, BMI hosted its signature “How I Wrote That Song®” series, featuring J Noa, Trooko, Nsqk, and Luck Ra, who each gave the audience a behind-the-scenes look at their creative process. The conversation was led by BMI VP of Creative, Latin, Jesus Gonzalez.

Together, the two events underscored BMI’s commitment to championing Latin songwriters and artists, and to fostering meaningful conversations around the craft of songwriting.
