BMI Visits Emilio Estefan at The Legendary Crescent Moon Studios

This week, legendary songwriter/producer Emilio Estefan graciously opened the doors to his studio to officially welcome BMI Latin to Miami. BMI’s VP Creative, Latin Jesus Gonzalez and Director, Creative, Miami Robertocarlos Carranza were treated to an afternoon at the BMI Icon’s home at legendary Crescent Moon Studios, where classic albums by artists like Miami Sound Machine, Gloria Estefan, Carlos Vives, Shakira, Juanes and countless others were recorded. It was a tremendous honor for the BMI team.

Over the course of a couple of hours, Estefan allowed our team to hear tantalizing portions of some of the multiple projects he’s currently working on, notably including the next iteration of FIFA World Cup anthem, Gloria Estefan’s first Spanish-language album in 18 years, as well all the other artists he’s currently producing such as Cimafunk, Nico Ruiz, the Tenors, amongst others.
