BMI’s Tucker Wetmore Celebrates Third Consecutive Chart Topper “Brunette” with No. One Party

BMI gathered Nashville’s music community together to celebrate the third consecutive No. One “Brunette” from Back Blocks Music/MCA/Mercury Records hitmaker Tucker Wetmore on Tuesday, August 11. The RIAA GOLD-certified track written by Chase McGill (BMI), Josh Miller (BMI), Blake Pendergrass (BMI) and producer Chris LaCorte (GMR), marks the third chart-topper from Wetmore’s debut album, What Not To. The chart topper lends its name to his first-ever headlining run, The Brunette World Tour, which is currently underway.

Hosted by BMI and emceed by BMI’s Leslie Roberts, the ACM New Male Artist of the Year was reunited with his collaborators to share remarks about the song’s success. “Brunette” is McGill’s 18th No. One, Miller’s 9th No. One, Pendergrass’s 7th No. One and LaCorte’s 6th No. One as a songwriter.
