BMI Supports Song Arts New Fall Songwriting Workshop, Starts September, 12 - Apply Now!
BMI is proud to support its members at Song Arts Academy’s Fall Workshop Intensive starting Wednesday, September, 12. SAA is a proven and unique learning destination taught by NYU Steinhardt, New School Songwriting faculty member, and Berklee NYC consultant Billy Seidman.
Past writers trained in the SAA “Advanced Song Craft Method™” include: Bebe Rexha, Rachel Platten, Carlos Escalona, Marc Anthony and Chris Mcclenney, as well as other artists signed to major labels, contestants on The Voice and American Idol, and hundreds of tristate songwriters.
The workshop starts Wednesday, September 12, then continues consecutive Tuesdays: 9/18. 25, 10/2, & 10/9 from 7PM - 9:30PM in Manhattan.
This is an advanced song craft program for serious writers wanting to grow their skill-set to compete in today’s music market. “Grow your ears” and write stronger songs by learning the Song Arts Critiquing System developed specifically for this workshop including: “Emotional Hypnotism,”™ “Harnessing Song DNA,”™ and “Lyrical Logic.”™
