BMI Supports Song Arts Academy’s Spring Semester Songwriting Workshop Starting May 9
BMI is proud to support Song Arts Academy’s 2022 Spring Semester Songwriting Workshop Intensive starting May 9 on Zoom.
In this four-week program, songwriters will acquire a new vocabulary for listening to music. Additionally, they’ll learn how to effectively convey genuine emotions in song-form and utilize that skill for maximum effect.
Taught by SAA Founder, Billy Seidman, author of The Elements of Song Craft, the workshop is based on his course syllabus used by NYU, The New School, and Berklee NYC Graduate Master Songwriting Programs. Look for real results and write some of your best songs to date, while learning how to network and develop co-writers. You’ll come away with four new, original songs written with “Advanced Song Craft” tools, the same tools and strategies employed by many of today’s hitmakers.
The four-week intensive meets three consecutive Monday evenings: 05/9, 16, 23, & Tuesday, 05/31 from 7pm to 9pm EST, live on Zoom. The cost is $400. The workshop is limited to 15 participants.
