Posted in News on December 18, 2017

BMI is proud to support its songwriter members at Song Arts Academy’s first Workshop Intensive of 2018. A proven and unique learning destination for songwriters taught by NYU and New School faculty member Billy Seidman, this workshop starts Monday, January 22, and runs for five consecutive Monday evenings: 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, and 2/19, from 7PM to 9:30PM in Manhattan.

Songwriters who have previous worked with Seidman include Rachel Platten, Bebe Rexha, GRAMMY winners Carlos Escalona, Marc Anthony, and current GRAMMY nominee Chris McClenney (nominated for his work as a writer/producer on the hit “Location” by Khalid), as well as artists signed to major record labels, The Voice, American Idol contestants, and hundreds of tri-state writers.

This is an advanced song crafting course. Check out some of the strategies you’ll learn here. The cost is $325.00 for the 5-week program. The workshop is limited to 15 and writers are encouraged to apply ASAP, as the program fills up fast. For more information and to apply, visit: www.songartsacademy.com
