Composer Harry Gregson-Williams to speak on film scoring
On Saturday, September 14, the Guild of Music Supervisors will present its 5TH annual ‘State Of Music In Media’ conference at the Los Angeles Film School. The event grants participants the opportunity to network with some of industry’s top leaders, plus attend a variety of informative panels on subjects covering music in film, television, advertising, games, trailers and more. This year, the conference will also include a presentation on film scoring by award-winning BMI composer Harry Gregson-Williams (The Martian, Shrek), followed by an interview moderated by BMI’s Doreen Ringer-Ross covering Harry’s dynamic career as one of today’s premier film score composers.
