BMI was a major participant at the 51st Annual Country Radio Seminar (2/19-2/21), showcasing a handful of emerging BMI artists in front of an influential group of radio executives and association partners, as well as paying tribute to an iconic BMI country star.

As has become tradition, BMI hosted a dinner during CRS week that featured performances by up-and-coming BMI singer/songwriters Coretta King, Jesse Labelle, Jed Wyatt, Carly Tefft and BMLG recording artist Payton Smith. Later in the conference, BMI sponsored an intimate interview with BMI songwriter Carrie Underwood, who talked about her journey from American Idol to country superstar.

CRS is an annual conference held at the Omni Hotel in Nashville, where the country music and radio industries come together for 3 days of educational sessions and performances.
