Iván Cornejo is an American regional Mexican singer/songwriter from Riverside, CA. A self-taught guitarist, Iván turned to songwriting as a means to mend his broken heart following the breakup of a teenaged romance. He soon channeled that talent into a promising career as a music creator. His first album, Alma Vacía, peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Regional Mexican Albums chart and spent 35 weeks in that chart’s top ten. It reached #7 on the Top Latin Albums chart and was called one of the best albums of 2021 by the New York Times. His second album Dañado, raised the bar even higher, debuting at #1 on the Regional Mexican Albums chart. Cornejo’s career continues to ascend. He has reached over 1.1 billion combined streams and was one of this year’s most nominated artists at this year’s Premios Lo Nuestro.
