As always, a new year at BMI means new music from our Indie artists. For this edition of our Indie Spotlight, we’re highlighting the multitalented hip-hop artist, Roman the Cartoon, the Midwesterner who made it big, Lauren Sanderson, and the five-piece collective, Peach Tree Rascals. We continue with Riz La Vie, a bluesy, R&B/hip-hop hybrid, Model Child, an eclectic pop-punk prodigy, and Lucette, a Canadian dream-pop darling. Rounding out the list is the existential exploration of Thom Sawyr, the headstrong individuality of Ellee Duke, and the groovy pop of The Undercover Dream Lovers.
