BMI Congratulates its 2025 American Music Award Winners

BMI is thrilled to applaud our many songwriters who were singled out for recognition at the 2025 American Music Awards, which were held last night at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas. Some of the evening’s biggest winners included Lady Gaga, who took home three awards for Collaboration of the Year, Favorite Music Video and Favorite Dance/Electronic Artist, SZA, who claimed Favorite Female R&B Artist and Favorite R&B Song, Twenty One Pilots, who won Favorite Rock Artist and Favorite Rock Album, and Eminem, who collected the trophies for Favorite Male Hip-Hop Artist and Favorite Hip-Hop Album. Additionally, Janet Jackson was given the prestigious Icon Award.
Beyond the accolades, it was an exciting evening of music. Notable highlights included electrifying performances by artists like Benson Boone, Blake Shelton, Gloria Estefan, Gwen Stefani, Lainey Wilson and Janet Jackson playing a career-spanning medley of her hits.
