BMI and White Bear PR Bring Composers from “Star Wars,” “Pokémon” and More to Comic-Con 2026

BMI and White Bear PR presented “Thematic Tunes: From Star Wars to Pokémon” at Comic-Con 2026 on Thursday, July 23, at the San Diego Convention Center. The panel brought together Kevin, Sean and Deana Kiner (Star Wars Darth Maul – Shadow Lord), Claudia Sarne (Supergirl), Ed Goldfarb (Pokémon), and Trey Toy (Castlevania: Nocturne) the composers behind some of the most popular franchises in film and television, drawing a full room of dedicated fans ready to celebrate and learn more about what it takes to score iconic themes.

Moderated by BMI’s Louie Stephens and White Bear PR’s Chandler Poling, the conversation gave the audience a candid look at the composers’ creative process. Throughout the panel, clips from each composer’s work were played, giving them a chance to break down their approach by scene. Panelists also shared stories about their favorite themes to write and the instruments and tools they lean on in the studio. The panel concluded with an audience Q&A.
