BMI’s Vice President of Creative, Atlanta, Catherine Brewton, was named one of Billboard’s Women in Music Top Executives in a ceremony on March 2 at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, CA. Brewton was recognized for her work and impact supporting BMI’s affiliates and her many accomplishments during a record-breaking year for the company. She was instrumental in signing and retaining numerous prominent R&B, hip-hop and Gospel songwriters and producers, including names such as Nas, Kanye West, J Cole and many others.
