Best of Indie 2015: Hippo Campus
Minneapolis’ Hippo Campus continue to make good on their promise, since first being lauded in BMI’s Indie Spotlight back in February for their ability to seamlessly capture the soul-searching angst of youth. The band played to Lollapalooza this past summer, performing with the bravado of an already road-tested ensemble. They also brought that very brand of excitement to a performance on “Suicide Saturday” on Conan, and dropped their second EP, South, this past October to even further acclaim.
