Italian Deputy Prime Minister Receives Friendship Gavel

Deputy Prime Minister of Italy Gianfranco Fini was honored recently by the US office of the Institute for Strategic Studies with a "friendship gavel" representing the amicable relationship between the two countries. The presentation took place in Washington, DC at one of Georgetown's most popular Italian restaurants, Caf� Milano.

The International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), founded in 1958, is the world's most prestigious private, not-for-profit membership organizations for the study of military strategy, arms control, regional security and conflict resolution.
