2012 was a great year for the BMI repertoire. BMI music was widely celebrated around the world. BMI writers earned 54% of the American Music Awards, 68% of the GRAMMYS, and 96% of the CMA Awards. On the Film and TV front, BMI composers scored 53% of the top 100 films released and created theme or background music in more than 73% of all primetime network programs. The New Year is off to a great start. BMI songwriters and composers garnered more than 250 nominations for the 2013 GRAMMY Awards. Led by The Black Keys, Kanye West, Chick Corea, Nas, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Jack White, T Bone Burnett; and hot new comers fun. and Gotye. Congratulations to all of you, and our writers, for your worldwide recognition and awards across all genres. We look forward to your ongoing success in 2013 and beyond.
Here at home and around the globe, we continue to foster relationships which ensure that you are paid when your works are played! Our international team signed our first reciprocal agreements with emerging territories such as Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, bringing our total to 92 international reciprocal agreements. Domestically, we finalized important license agreements with 19 cable networks owned by Disney ABC and Discovery Networks, along with the Game Show Network and Sirius XM Satellite Radio. Our New Media division topped 10,000 licensees and had their highest revenue year in history. We continue to cover the globe on your behalf to preserve and grow the value of your music.
BMI continues to innovate and work closely with industry players to drive value for the creators of music and the businesses that use it every day. In the first quarter of 2013, we will be announcing a new version of our BMI Live program and rolling out revamped state of the art mobile services, which will put the power of BMI literally in your hands. We will continue to launch new services for our writers and publishers throughout the year to make it easier to interact with BMI wherever and whenever you want to.
