Top Latin Songwriters Featured at Miami ‘Hitmakers’ Showcase
BMI songwriters Yasmil Marrufo, Juan Vicente Zambrano, and Rodolfo Castillo were featured at the organization’s second annual Hitmakers Holiday Celebration, staged December 2008 at Van Dyke Café in South Beach in Miami. Each year, the event features a selection of South Florida’s premier Latin music songwriters, who perform new material in addition well-known favorites from their catalogs. Hosted by BMI Associate Director, Writer/Publisher Relations, Latin Music Jake Cavazos, the music and festive networking atmosphere attracted songwriters, composers, music publishers, and entertainment industry executives.
