Ten Out of Tenn Celebrates New Tour and Album at BMI

Posted in News on July 21, 2008

Friends, peers and industry executives gathered in BMI’s writer/publisher lobby Wednesday, July 9, to toast Ten Out of Tenn – an inspired coalition of ten Nashville-based pop/rock artists. In addition to embarking on a national tour kicking off July 19 at the Cannery Ballroom in Nashville, the ten compatriots have released Ten Out of Tenn, Vol. 2, featuring one contribution from each of the group’s members.

Ten Out of Tenn first launched in 2005, and 2008 finds the project reinvigorated and happily committed to its original goal: further exposing Nashville’s vibrant pop rock scene, both to hometown hipsters and tastemakers across the country. Originally conceptualized by singer/songwriter Trent Dabbs and wife Kristen, Ten Out of Tenn celebrates the friendships and music of ten auspicious indie and major label artists who proudly call Music City home.
