Composer Michael Mollura cites work as a composer, studio musician, performer and world musicologist as career-defining experiences. Currently, he is working on a dramatic original score for feature film Reconciliation, which is in post-production. His pieces have been licensed for everything from sports action cues to romantic drama and coming-of-age themed projects, while his music is currently airing in a national commercial for T-Mobile. The score for Climate Refugees offered a challenge perfectly suited to Mollura’s strengths, and the result is stunning world music that incorporates Arabic, Chinese, African and American derived themes.
