Sundance Profile: Chico Colvard
Director: Family Affair
After graduating from law school, Chico Colvard pursued a career in corporate litigation and later, the field of education. For several years he has offered courses at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, that examine his interests in race, law and media. Family Affair is his feature-length documentary debut and will premiere in competition at Sundance. Chico is a former filmmaker-in-residence at WGBH in Boston and a Sundance Institute Creative Producing Fellow.
