‘Speed Dating for Songwriters®’ makes its return to the BMI London Office
BMI’s London team hosted their first ‘Speed Dating for Songwriters®’ on February 25 since returning to the offices. The event itself is a program developed to foster creative collaboration by handpicking a select group of promising songwriters, producers, and artists that BMI’s Creative executives believe have promising careers ahead. ‘Speed Dating for Songwriters®’ originated in New York as a way to foster a sense of community among local songwriters who may not otherwise have met and has since spread to Nashville, Los Angeles and London in the past 10 years. Veterans of this series include songwriters like FLETCHER, Maggie Rogers, DAVIE, CKAY and many more.
This time around, participants included (L-R) Brooke Law, Jeffrey The Kidd, Marcus Wiles, Helene Frosta, Jason Kwan, RIYA, Jessica Doolan, S Virgo, JUKE, Sober Seven, DUKE, Harry Stone.
