Latin Alternative Music Conference Offering BMI Discount
The Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) will return to the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City July 8-12, 2008, and is offering a discounted registration fee of $99 for BMI affiliates. Featuring leading artists as well as many of the music industry’s most prominent decision-makers, the ninth annual LAMC is a “must play” event for developing and established acts alike.
Among the events planned for LAMC 2008 are free concerts at Central Park SummerStage and Celebrate Brooklyn Festival, as well as numerous showcases, industry panels, film screenings and art exhibits for LAMC registrants. The five-day conference will provide networking opportunities with the genre’s leading artists, label executives, journalists, marketers, managers, retailers and programmers.

LAMC will return for its second year to Mexico City and Buenos Aires on September 5 and September 25-26, respectively.
