Juanes to be Honored as 2019 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year
BMI is very proud to congratulate longtime affiliate, 23-time-Latin-GRAMMY-winning singer/songwriter, and tireless philanthropist Juanes for being named the 2019 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year. This accolade is given to music creators of Ibero American heritage in recognition of their accomplishments within the realm of Latin music, and also for their reverence for community and humanitarian outreach. Over the course of his extensive career, Juanes has embodied the principles of this honor with both his prolific music and his commitment to global activism. The celebration will take place November 13 at the MGM Grand Convention Center in Las Vegas, where he will be honored with a star-studded tribute concert and gala.
