Island Hopper 2019 Kicks Off on Captiva Island

6th annual Island Hopper Songwriters Fest kicked off in Captiva, September 20-22. More than 80 songwriters and 100 shows highlight the 10-day festival that takes place in small, intimate BMI-licensed venues across Captiva, downtown Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach. This year’s Captiva portion featured the likes of Nashville Hall of Fame songwriters Kostas and Even Stevens, along with an impressive roster of other award-winning BMI writers who attracted record-breaking crowds. The Island Hopper Songwriter Fest is presented by BMI in partnership with iHeart Media and the Lee County Visitors and Convention Bureau.
