Industry Spotlight: CMJ Music Marathon

Artists, music fans and industry insiders will soon descend upon New York City for the annual CMJ Music Marathon, one of the world’s most important outlets for the discovery of new music. Once again this year, BMI, in partnership with HD Radio, will sponsor its CMJ showcase to be held at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn on Tuesday, October 21, at 7:30 p.m. The lineup will include five auspicious acts: alt-pop purveyor VÉRITÉ, rock & roll purists The Wans, genre-bending Atarah Valentine, electronic pop project Thief, melody architects Dreamshow and indie-pop infusers Charly Bliss.
