Industry Spotlight: Brooklyn Independent Music Festival
The Brooklyn Independent Music Festival will take place at Littlefield performance space in Brooklyn over the weekend of September 16-18, and will feature 60 of the best independent bands in NYC on two stages. Inspired by the belief that a strong local music scene is one of the most valuable resources that an artist can have, this festival was formed by NY- based musician Bennett Miller in an effort to promote unity and mutual support within the artist community. The Brooklyn Indie Fest promises an opportunity for fans and artists alike to greatly expand their awareness and involvement in the NYC independent music scene, a community of which we are all a part.
