BMI Congratulates Marco Paguia on 2025 Tony Award Wins

BMI is proud to congratulate Marco Paguia on winning the Best Orchestrations award for Buena Vista Social Club at the 78th Tony Awards on Sunday, June 8. The musical, set in Havana, Cuba, follows the journey of four Cuban musicians from the 1950s to the 1990s. Marco is the show’s music director, conductor, and is also on piano on stage.

It was a special evening for Marco who took home not one but two awards at the 2025 show. As previously announced, a special Tony Award was presented to the musicians who made up the band of Buena Vista Social Club.
