Magnets & Ghosts, the brainchild of Collective Soul’s Dean Roland and songwriter/producer Ryan Potesta, is new age alt-rock at its finest. Ranging in influence from The Black Keys to Pink Floyd, the duo creates a captivating soundscape that explores emotional depths through lyrics and music. Mass, their 2011 full-length, features head-banging tracks (“Light My Flame”) interspersed with atmospheric arena rock (“Hearts of Everyone”), resulting in a complex and fresh listen.
