Coming out of Baltimore, MD (via Cleveland, TN) J Roddy Walston and the Business has hit the road with such regularity that its recorded work can almost seem like an afterthought. But the artifact the band created is among the most collection-worthy albums of the past decade. Their self-titled, first full-length album and label debut, slated for release July 27, 2010 (Fairfax Recordings/Vagrant), is punctuated and largely based upon J Roddy Walston’s resounding piano and vocals.
