Indie Spotlight: Brandon Rhyder

Posted in News on October 31, 2011

Brandon Rhyder had a vision for his Live at Billy Bob’s Texas and new songs were definitely a top priority. “I just didn’t want to play all previously released songs. I wanted the fans to have something different and something with some new perspective mixed in with the songs that helped get us to where we are now,” Rhyder says. The Texas-based singer/songwriter has built an enthusiastic grassroots following on the strength of self-recorded compositions such as “Freeze Frame Time,” “Backroads,” “Rock Angel,” and “Let the Good Times Roll.” Rhyder has released seven full-length albums, including the most recent Live at Billy Bob’s Texas collection and 2010’s Head Above Water, released nationally by Thirty Tigers. brandonrhyder.com
