LANY is a three-piece pop band with southern roots whose collective dream was to play music across the United States (from LA to NY… Get it?). Now, because of their monumental talent and touring prowess, they have transcended single-country notoriety to become a worldwide success. Since appearing in the Indie Spotlight in 2014 and on BMI’s stage at Lollapalooza in 2015, they have released several EPs, a few collaborations with Lauv and Julia Michaels, and are now three albums deep into a career marked by relatable lyrics, heart-wrenching vocals, and sold-out headlining shows. All three of their LPs have charted on the Billboard 200, and they have landed on the Billboard Artist 100 chart in both 2017 and 2020. Their latest project, mama’s boy, came out on October 2 and went to #7 on the Billboard 200. The record contains standouts like “if this is the last time,” “cowboy in LA,” and “heart won’t let me.”
