House Rep Linda Sanchez Signs on as Cosponsor of Songwriter Equity Act
Congresswoman Linda Sanchez (D-CA-38) has joined lead Democratic cosponsor Congressman Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY-8) (@RepJeffries) in supporting H.R. 1283, the Songwriter Equity Act of 2015. The bill, introduced in March by Congressman Doug Collins (R-GA-9) (@RepDougCollins), continues to gain momentum on the Hill as it garners the support of Members and their constituents nationwide. Congresswoman Sanchez is the Ranking Member of the House Committee on Ethics and serves on the House Committee on Ways and Means and the House Select Committee on Benghazi.
