GRAMMY-Nominated BMI Songwriter Entertains California Innkeepers
The California Association of Boutique & Breakfast Inns held their annual INNspire Conference & Marketplace in person this year at the Bahia Resort Hotel in San Diego and BMI helped make it an event to remember. Award-winning BMI songwriter James Slater was the featured entertainment at their closing beach party where he regaled the group of hotel executives and innkeepers from across California with stories from his long and successful songwriting career while playing some of his biggest country hits that he was written for superstars like Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and Martina McBride. Slater has been nominated for two GRAMMYs and has won multiple BMI awards. CABBI is a nonprofit, member-driven trade association dedicated to promoting the B&B and boutique inn industry in California.
