NARM and the RIAA have joined forces to remind us all that one of society’s most ubiquitous treasures is also an ideal token of appreciation and affection. The Give the Gift of Music campaign points to the intrinsic value and thoughtfulness of music, which remains the perfect gift.
To revitalize the ongoing initiative, NARM and RIAA recently staged a search for the campaign’s new logo. Both companies and individuals were encouraged to submit their ideas, and the contest-winning design, created by WEA Corp.’s Richard Jennings and pictured above, was chosen by an expert judging panel.
“This is an industry effort that taps into two enduring values: our love of music and the desire to share something that moves us deeply with our friends and family,” said Mitch Bainwol, Chairman and CEO, RIAA. “The logo is an essential foundation of a marketing and social media campaign that we will begin to roll out in the coming months.”
