Cable Network Seeks Music-Inspired Ads

Current TV, an internet, cable and satellite television network produced and programmed by its audience, is seeking unsigned singer/songwriters to create a commercial sharing their experiences with XM Radio. The chosen spot will air on Current TV with the winner receiving $1,000 with an opportunity to earn $50,000 if aired nationally.

Applicants should submit a 60-second viewer-created ad message (vcam) portraying how XM Radio fits into their everyday life. Musicians are encouraged to use their own music and credit themselves. Expertise in filmmaking and editing is not required for entry. The deadline for submissions is August 26.
