BMI’s LOCASH Celebrate No. One Hit “Hometown Home”
BMI welcomed music industry tastemakers and fans to the rooftop of BMI’s Nashville headquarters in celebration of the multi-week No. One hit “Hometown Home” from Galaxy Label Group’s LOCASH.
Hosted by BMI and ASCAP, BMI’s MaryAnn Keen welcomed attendees as they were greeted with high spirits from the Father Ryan High School drumline. Written by LOCASH’s Preston Brust (BMI), LOCASH’s Chris Lucas (BMI), Zach Abend (BMI) and Andy Albert (ASCAP) and produced by Jacob Rice, the songwriters reunited to share remarks and thank all who contributed towards the song’s success.
Sponsored by Studio Bank, Kari Barnhart made a special donation presentation on behalf of LOCASH and the songwriters in support of the I Love This Life Fund, which supports nonprofit causes across the country that are cultivating and curating life-impacting initiatives. Capping off the evening, Galaxy Label Group’s Skip Bishop presented the songwriters with plaques to commemorate the chart-topping success and LOCASH, joined by the songwriters, surprised attendees with a special performance of “Hometown Home” and “I Love This Life.”
