BMI’s “Know Them Now – Thank You for Hip-Hop” Showcase Puts Spotlight on Emerging Talent

Last week, BMI presented it’s Know Them Now -Thank You For Hip-Hop showcase at New York City’s legendary S.O.B.’s. The event featured some of BMI’s most promising songwriters and producers, who have begun to generate a loyal fanbase and are ready to break into New York’s hip-hop music scene, including Chris Rivers, Oswin Benjamin, MMBVELLI, STVSH, Lester London, Dot Cromwell and Suni MF.

BMI’s Omar Grant kicked things off by introducing the evening’s host, Michael Wade, while DJ Reg West got the crowd moving before the performances began. Rising female powerhouse emcee Suni MF hit the stage first, followed by skilled lyricist Dot Cromwell. Next, Lester London captivated the audience with his signature sound and STVSH thrilled the crowd with a high-energy set. The evening continued with an explosive performance by hip-hop artist MMBVELLI and smooth R&B crooner Oswin Benjamin, before rapper Chris Rivers closed out the night with an epic finale.
