Emceed by BMI’s Leslie Roberts, the No. One celebration for “I’m Gonna Love You” shed light on the authentic storytelling and lyrical artistry behind the track, which was written nine years ago this month. Sponsored by Studio Bank, Ron Cox made a special donation presentation on behalf of Johnson, Underwood and the songwriters in support of the Different Day Foundation, a charity founded by Cody and his wife Brandi which serves as a beacon of hope for women survivors seeking recovery and healing from prostitution, trafficking, and addiction.
