BMI’s Acoustic Lounge Series Kicks Off 2026 Season at Austin’s Saxon Pub

BMI’s Austin office kicked off the new year with its BMI Acoustic Lounge series last night, January 7, with songs from affiliates Scott Allison, Michael Armstrong, Taylor Graves, Kayla Jane, Taylor Rae and Jeremy William Smith. The signature showcase now occurs on the first Wednesday of each month at the historic venue, The Saxon Pub.

“We are so excited to continue to bring new talent on a new night each month to the iconic Saxon Pub,” says BMI’s Creative Coordinator, Austin Kristen Townsend. “This year, we hope to create a more intentional atmosphere where our songwriters can be heard, supported, and celebrated through Acoustic Lounge.”

The series itself, rebranded from the Saxon Songwriters Series in 2024, is part of BMI’s ongoing commitment to giving Austin’s songwriting community a platform to share new music and connect more deeply with fans.
