BMI Writers Take Majority of Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction Nominations

The Songwriters Hall of Fame, which is dedicated to recognizing the work and lives of composers and lyricists who create popular music around the world, has announced its list of nominees up for induction in 2015. Broadcast Music, Inc. is proud to announce that BMI-affiliated writers took more than half the nods. The winners will be celebrated at the Annual Awards Gala to be held at the New York Marriott Marquis on Thursday, June 18, 2015. Eligible voting members will have until December 15, 2014, to turn in their ballots with selections of three nominees from a non-performing songwriter category, as well as two from a performing category. For information on how to join or renew as a SHOF voting member, please go to songhall.org/join before November 17, 2014, in order to participate in this election.
